The Saudi Embassy in Tunisia Bids Farewell to the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in a Spirit of Faith and Brotherhood

The Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj is a generous annual initiative overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Launched under the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman – may God protect them – the program aims to host thousands of Muslims from around the world to perform the Hajj pilgrimage at the Kingdom’s expense. It reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering Islamic unity and its pivotal role in serving the Two Holy Mosques and caring for their visitors.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tunisia, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr, hosted a formal farewell ceremony for this year’s guests of the program at the embassy’s headquarters in Tunis, in the presence of several media and diplomatic figures.

At the beginning of the event, Dr. Al-Saqr warmly welcomed the honored guests and the media representatives covering the occasion, conveying the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman – may God preserve them – and extended his best wishes for a blessed and accepted pilgrimage.

In his speech, the ambassador reaffirmed the Kingdom’s keenness—at both the leadership and popular levels—to strengthen its fraternal ties with the Republic of Tunisia and elevate bilateral relations to the highest levels. He praised the deep cooperation between the two countries across various sectors and the continuous efforts made by both sides to serve shared interests.

Dr. Al-Saqr further emphasized that the procedures adopted by the Kingdom regarding the issuance of Hajj visas and permits are intended to ensure the safety of the pilgrims and to allow them to benefit fully from the comprehensive services provided by the Kingdom and its wise leadership.

He noted that the Kingdom, through this noble program, seeks to uphold the values of solidarity and Islamic brotherhood without discrimination, offering equal opportunities based on just and humanitarian principles that embody the ideals of fairness and inclusivity.

The ceremony was marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere, during which the ambassador engaged in conversations with the guests and commemorative photos were taken—underscoring the depth of the fraternal bond between the Kingdom and its Tunisian guests, and the Kingdom’s genuine commitment to hosting pilgrims with generosity, dignity, and unwavering dedication to serving Islam and Muslims.
